I bought 3 Suizan saws - the dovetail, 9-1/2" double sided, and the 10". Had a chance to test all three of them this weekend while working on a piece of manzanita. The dovetail saw is incredibly fine and creates a smooth sawn face. Very easy to use. I used the 9-1/2 to slice the manzanita down the length of the piece, flipped the saw over, and used the crosscut to remove my slab from the log. Both worked exceptionally well and the sawn face of the slab was smooth. Not a lot of cleanup work left for the planer. I did not do as well with the 10" single-sided saw but that could have just been some sort of adaptation issue on my part. I am really happy with these three saws.
